The campaign is in full swing. Candidate for the presidency of the CNOSF, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra announced the holding of three workshops with the federation presidents to refine its program. They will take place on May 13 at the headquarters of the Union Sportive de l'Enseignement du Premier Niveau, on May 21 at the French Athletics Federation and on May 27 at the French Sailing Federation. The former minister also opened an email address to receive contributions and ideas of all people wishing to participate in the campaign: [email protected]
"I am happy to talk every day with several federation presidents, to listen to their expectations, to share my perspectives on the sports movement, to answer their questions about our project. (…) These discussions reveal converging expectations: a desire for unity in the sports movement, that his work be more collective, that his voice weighs more in arbitrations (especially when we are already hearing talk of budgetary “freezes” for 2025…)”, writes the candidate on LinkedIn.
With a view to making the CNOSF more influential and more listened to, the former minister will soon meet MP Benjamin Dirx, "who has just been given a mission on the management and financing of public sports policy". “Vigilance and method will be required – over the duration of the mission – to argue, weigh and convince, so that the need for support from federations is fully understood and the societal contribution of the sports movement is taken into account at its true value!”she insists.
