Fourth in the medal standings for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, with a total of 52 places on the podium, including 17 titles, Australia is preparing to celebrate its athletes in style. The National Olympic Committee (AOC) has announced the organisation of a celebration tour across the country. It will have ten stops, between 13 and 22 September, and will visit all the states and major cities in the territory, including Sydney, Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Above all, it will bring together the Olympic and Paralympic teams. The Australian Olympic delegation included 467 athletes at the Paris 2024 Games. The Paralympic team, for its part, has 160. For both selections, the number of women represents more than the majority (53%), for a cumulative average age of 27,7 years.
