Fifth main partner joins the Women's World Cup

The team is growing again. Defender has become the fifth principal partner of the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup., joining Mastercard, Capgemini, Gallagher and Asahi. The automotive brand was already a major partner of the 2023 Men's World Cup. Defender plans to involve and inspire the next generation, through its Defender Mascot program, by recruiting 64 young players – boys and girls – from all rugby nations to participate in the tournament (from August 22 to September 27) as mascots.
