Surfing and archery join the movement

ESports

International federations understand it one after the other: it is no longer possible to ignore electronic sport. Two of them are joining the movement by having concluded a partnership agreement with the World eSports Federation (GEF). The International Surfing Association (ISA) and the International Archery Federation (World Archery) announce that they are in turn partners of the GEF, in a joint effort to build a lasting bridge between the so-called traditional practice and its version electronic. The international tennis federations (ITF), taekwondo (World Taekwondo) and squash (World Squash) preceded them shortly by joining the increasingly large ranks of the GEF a little earlier. Created in 2008, the World eSports Federation is chaired by Chris Chan, also secretary general of the Singapore National Olympic Committee. Its global headquarters is located in South Korea.
