Record year for 3x3 basketball. FIBA has done its sums: the latest edition of the World Tour, which ended last month in Hong Kong, was historic in terms of growth and following on social media. The global circuit recorded a 46,4% increase in impressions, with 366 million, a 76% increase in video views (352 million), and a total of 12 million engagements, compared to 10 million in 2023. The 2024 World Tour was followed in more than 150 countries around the world, on five continents. It brought together more than 300 players throughout a season punctuated by the organization of 17 circuit stops, plus 22 Challenger tournaments. The next 3x3 basketball season will begin in the Japanese city of Utsunomiya, on April 26 and 27, 2025.
