LA 2028 reveals its sequence

Paris 2024

With four days to go until the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, the Los Angeles 2028 team unveiled the flag handover sequence on Wednesday, September 4, scheduled for Sunday at the Stade de France. It promises to be musical, artistic and sporting. The Californian organizers have invited Tony Award-winning actress and Broadway star Ali Stroker, eight-time Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak, jazz pianist Matthew Whitaker, and Broadway violinist and composer Gaelynn Lea. They will be joined by three Paralympic athletes who are members of Team USA at the Paris 2024 Games, all of whom are Los Angeles residents: Samantha Bosco (para cycling), Ezra Frech (para athletics) and Jamal Hill (para swimming). Once the Paralympic flag has been handed over from Paris to Los Angeles, Ali Stroker will kick off the sequence by singing the American anthem. The musical part will then be provided by Matthew Whitaker, Gaelynn Lea, the rapper, songwriter and athlete Garnett Silver-Hall, and finally Anderson .Paak.
