Teqball remains loyal to Southeast Asia. Its international federation, FITEQ, has announced that it has awarded Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the organization of the 2024 world championships. They will take place from December 4 to 8. This will be the seventh edition of a global event that has been held in the past in Bangkok, Nuremberg (Germany), Gliwice (Poland), Reims (France), and Budapest twice. The last world championships, last year in the Thai capital, brought together 211 players from 61 countries, a double record. But the 2024 edition in Vietnam could surpass it, as FITEQ now has 156 national member federations. As a reminder, teqball was a candidate to be included in the program of the Los Angeles 2028 Games as an additional sport.
