Witold Banka and Yang Yang ready to return

No change in sight at the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). China’s Yang Yang, a multiple Olympic medallist in short track at the Winter Games (Nagano 1998, Salt Lake City 2002 and Turin 2006), confirmed to the Xinhua agency that she would run for a new three-year term (2023-2025) as vice-president. Poland’s Witold Banka is also aiming to retain his position as president for another three years, which he has held since 1 January 2020. Elections for the WADA presidency and vice-presidency are scheduled for 18 November. They are to take place during the next meeting of the WADA Foundation Board in Montreal, at the agency’s headquarters.
