Volunteers trained online

Good or bad sign? With 92 days to go, the organisers of the Tokyo Games on Thursday, April 22nd, began training the volunteers recruited for the Olympic and Paralympic event. But the first session took place online, due to the health risks. It concerned the volunteers called upon to supervise the large contingent of volunteers, or about 6 000 people, out of the 80 000 registered. This training session was the first in a series of 20, scheduled until the end of May. Approximately 310 people participated in the virtual training course, devoted mostly to a briefing on the role of a team leader. The second phase of the training process, for volunteers assigned to an Olympic venue, will take place in June.
