VINCI becomes 33rd official supporter

More and more announcements are being made by the Paris 2024 OCOG. Following on from RATP, the Organising Committee has added a new name to its list of private sponsors. The VINCI Group, one of the giants of the construction industry with over 100,000 employees in France, is joining the adventure. It has become an official supporter of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the third level of the national marketing programme. In a press release, VINCI explains that Paris 2024’s “commitments to deliver more responsible Games, with the aim of halving carbon emissions compared to previous Games, while providing employment opportunities and promoting the positive impact of sport on society, are particularly aligned with those of VINCI.” By becoming an official supporter, the French group is adding a new dimension to a presence in the preparations for the Paris 2024 Games that is already tangible on the ground. VINCI is involved with SOLIDEO in the Universeine project in Saint-Denis, where the athletes’ village will be located, in the Stade de France (photo above), and in the day-to-day management of the OCOG’s headquarters, the Pulse building. With VINCI, the Organising Committee now has 33 official supporters.
