The information is revealed by France Info: the Brigade for the Repression of Personal Crime (BRDP) has opened two investigations after cross complaints filed by the president of the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF), Brigitte Henriques, and its former secretary general, Didier Séminet. They follow a long internal crisis, which began after the forced departure of Didier Séminet last September, then the filing a week later of a complaint by Brigitte Henriques, accusing him of harassment and psychological violence. At the beginning of November, the former secretary general filed a complaint against the president of the Olympic body for slanderous denunciation and breach of trust. The crisis seemed to be over after Brigitte Henriques withdrew for a few months and returned to the business world at the end of last year. But the publication last month of the report of two administrators who had access to the CNOSF’s ledger of accounts reignited the crisis, detailing the amounts committed by the committee for the dismissal of Didier Séminet. The next CNOSF board meeting is scheduled for April 12.
