Thomas Bach will open the conference

Great catch for the next edition of the Smart Cities & Sport Summit, scheduled for November 22-24th, 2021, in Copenhagen (Denmark). Thomas Bach will be the keynote speaker of the opening session. During his speech, the IOC President will share the Olympic movement’s vision on sport and active society. He will notably talk about the agreement signed last year with the World Health Organisation (WHO) to promote health through sport and physical activity as part of Agenda 2020. After an entirely digital year, the Smart Cities & Sport Summit returns in hybrid mode. It will take place in Copenhagen, but will also be accessible via streaming. The Smart Cities & Sport organisation, based in Lausanne, brings together past and future Olympic host cities.
