Thirteen sports on the programme

The road to the Paris 2024 Games will pass through Montpellier for some of the world’s top urban sports specialists. The organisers of the FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports) have unveiled the programme for the next edition, scheduled for 25-29 May 2022 in the French city. It includes 13 urban disciplines, including stages of the UCI BMX freestyle World Cup (Park and Flatland), rollerblading (Freestyle Park), parkour (Freestyle and Speed run), and the Gold World Series of breaking. Most of the disciplines on the FISE 2022 programme in Montpellier are recognised by their certifying international federations, some of them up to World Cup level. The urban sports gathering, which will celebrate its twenty-fifth anniversary this year, will therefore allow to gain points in the world ranking, one of the levers of qualification for the Paris 2024 Games in BMX Freestyle Park and breaking.
