The work is speeding up

Jeux Francophonie

It’s about time. With 14 months to go before the event, construction work on the athletes’ village for the next Francophonie Games, to be held from August 19th to 28th, 2022, in Kinshasa (DRC), is finally picking up speed. Of the 12 seven-floor buildings planned in the scheme, foundations have been laid for six of them, and one building has gone up to the first floor. The construction site had been blocked for more than a year, but it has resumed in recent weeks. According to the construction company in charge of the work, the village should be delivered on time, in April 2022.
