The two symposia go back in time

WADA-AMA

The series of postponements and cancellations continues unabated in the sporting movement. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has also announced the postponement of two events on its calendar for the first half of 2022 for health reasons. The annual Symposium, which was to be held in hybrid mode on 23 and 24 March 2022 at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, has been postponed by almost three months. It is now scheduled to take place on 11-12 June 2022, at the same venue and in the same format. WADA’s annual Symposium, the main event in the anti-doping calendar, brings together all stakeholders in the sporting movement, including International Federations, national and regional anti-doping organisations, athletes’ representatives, governments and WADA-accredited laboratories. The Symposium on Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs) was also postponed due to the health situation. Originally scheduled for 21-22 April in Incheon, South Korea, it will now take place in the second quarter of 2023. The Korean Anti-Doping Agency (KADA) will continue to host the event.
