
No need to wait. The legacy of the 2024 Paris Games can be measured even before the Olympic and Paralympic events take place. As proof of this, the organisation, from next spring (April 29 to May 2, 2021) by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) and Vichy Community, of the first edition of the Masters Games. The national multisport competition is intended for over 25s. It is open to all skill levels. On the program, 12 endurance and precision sports, including indoor rowing, biathlon, running (6 or 12 km), disc golf, swimming (1,500 m in open water or 100 m in the pool), paddle, pétanque and archery. Two ways to participate: individually or as part of a team (club, company, friends, family). The first Masters Games in Vichy (Allier) in 2021 are part of the “Legacy” program of the 2024 Paris Games designed by the CNOSF. They were originally scheduled to be held in October 2020, before being postponed to spring 2021 due to the health crisis.
