A new chapter for the International Canoe Federation (ICF). It has announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with a streaming platform, Recast. From the beginning of the new sports season, it will host all the major events in the canoeing and kayaking disciplines on an exclusive basis. Recast is presented as a live and on-demand broadcasting platform, with no subscription fee, but requiring credits to access the content. These credits can be obtained by viewing advertisements, by sharing data or by inviting friends to join the platform. It is also possible to buy additional credits. The ICF clarifies that the funds collected by Recast for the broadcast of canoeing events will be fully reinvested in the development of the discipline at the global level.
