Back to Europe for the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). Meeting on Friday, March 31 in Madrid, its Executive Council decided to award the city of Cascais, Portugal, the organization of the General Assembly of the body in 2024. It will follow two consecutive editions in Asia, in Seoul last October, then in Bali next August, a general assembly that will be held on the sidelines of the World Beach Games scheduled on the Indonesian island (August 5 to 12). A seminar for the Heads of Mission will be held from April 28 to May 2 in Bali, as a prelude to this second edition of the World Beach Games. Finally, it was decided by the Executive Council that the ANOC Awards Ceremony would henceforth take place every other year, to coincide with the Olympic Games.
