The footbridge is installed

Another box has been ticked on the roadmap to the Paris 2024 Games. This time, the event owes its success to SOLIDEO, the public body in charge of permanent installations, which has completed the construction and, above all, the installation of the footbridge linking the communes of Le Bourget and Dugny, over the A1 freeway. The wooden structure was manufactured over a three-month period in Simonin’s workshops in the Doubs region of France. The installation operation took six nights, each corresponding to the installation of one element. The new footbridge connects the Le Bourget sports and school park, where the climbing events will be held, with the future media village and the Georges Valbon departmental park.
