The FIE has finalized its list

It is done. The agency TASS reports that the Russian Fencing Federation has obtained from the world body of the discipline, the FIE, an updated list of athletes allowed to participate in international events under neutral status. It has seventeen names, plus twelve people from the coaching staff. But none of the Russian medallists of the Games of Tokyo 2020 appear in the list established by the FIE. At the last Summer Games, the delegation of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) won three gold medals in fencing, plus four silver and one bronze. The president of the Russian federation, Ilgar Mamedov, had already revealed a little before the middle of May to have received from the FIE a preliminary list of athletes authorized to participate in the international competitions. It did not include the Olympic champions at the Tokyo 2020 Games, including saberists Sofia Velikaya, Yana Yegoryan and Sofia Pozdnyakova, or foilist Inna Deriglazova. The silver medalists in foil team competition at Tokyo 2020, Anton Borodachyov, Kirill Borodachyov, Vladislav Mylnikov and Timur Safin, were also excluded. In accordance with the recommendations of the IOC Executive Board, the FIE also excluded athletes affiliated with CSKA, a club directly linked to the Russian army.
