The IOC can look to the future without fear of bankruptcy: its coffers are full. As IOC Director General Christophe De Kepper explained on Sunday 15 October, the first day of the 141st Session, the IOC has already secured $5.4 billion in revenue for the period 2029-2032, i.e. the Olympiad from the Summer Games in Los Angeles to those in Brisbane. The IOC owes most of this to its worldwide TOP marketing programme and television rights. Christophe De Kepper pointed out that last year the IOC welcomed a new partner to the TOP programme, Deloitte (pictured above), and this year extended its partnership with two global partners, Atos of France and Procter & Gamble of the United States.
