The Chinese evoke a flaw

There’s a new problem in the sanitary system set up by the Japanese for the Tokyo Games. The Chinese sailing team, already installed on the island of Enoshima, in the bay of Sagami, site of the future Olympic regattas, had the surprise to discover tourists in its hotel. The establishment had however been selected by the organizing committee. It was supposed to ensure stay conditions respecting sanitary measures, that is to say eliminating contamination risks in common areas, notably during meals. The New China agency, which revealed the information, explains that the Chinese team leaders already mention a “flaw” in the sanitary bubble. “We are discussing with the organizing committee,” said Zhang Xiaodong, president of the Chinese Sailing Federation. “For the moment, the Chinese team has a reserved floor in the hotel. But the fact that there are tourists within the establishment clearly represents a risk.”
