The British on the lookout

Less than 500 days before the Paris 2024 Games (D – 456 this Thursday, April 27), the big maneuvers have begun for the British. The city of Reims, in the east of France, announces to have received this week the visit of a delegation of about sixty persons, not less, within the framework of the partnership concluded with the Olympic Committee of Great Britain (BOA). The delegation went to the two sites stamped CPJ (Center of preparation to the Games) which will welcome the athletes of the Team GB before the Games: the sports complex René Tys and the UCPA Sport Station. Objective of the visit: to make the last technical scouting before the training courses planned this year. The British swimming team will prepare at the UCPA Sport Station from June 17th to 21st 2023. It will be followed by the artistic gymnastics selection, expected from July 31 to August 6 at the René Tys sports complex. In addition to the city of Reims, the British Olympic Committee has entered into a partnership agreement with the city of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, in the greater western Paris area, to set up another base camp before the Paris 2024 Games.
