The 2022 Worlds in Germany

The teqball elite will be in Germany. The international federation of the discipline (FITEQ) has announced that the city of Nuremberg will host the 2022 World Championships. They will take place from 23 to 27 November, with five world titles at stake: men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles. Held for the first time in Germany, the World Teqball Championships will take place in the Kia Metropol Arena, one of Germany’s most modern multi-purpose halls. Qualification will be via national events over the next few weeks, with one representative per country in the singles and up to three (including one reserve) in the doubles tables. Nuremberg was originally scheduled to host the European Teqball Tour, a qualifying competition for the 2023 European Games in Poland, where the sport will make its debut. The revised dates and new venue will be announced shortly.
