Springboks to see Corsica

RWC 2023

Corsica has been awarded a major prize. Next year, the island of Beauty will host one of the teams qualified for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France. And not the least, since it is South Africa, the reigning world champions. The Springboks will land in Corsica in August 2023 for a final training camp before moving to their base camp in Toulon on the other side of the Mediterranean. The announcement was made on Wednesday 8 June by Claude Atcher, the director general of France 2023, and Gilles Simeoni, the president of the Corsican executive council, at a press conference organised in Bastia as part of a promotional tour of France 2023.
