Skander Karaa takes charge of the CNOSF

Heads are changing at the French Olympic Committee (CNOSF). Less than three months after appointing a new president, David Lappartient, elected at the end of June to replace Brigitte Henriques, the body has announced the appointment of a new general manager. Skander Karaa will take up this position on September 25, after having served as CNOSF’s chief of staff for the past two years. He will be assisted by a deputy, Julien Fallelour. A lecturer in private law at the University of Limoges, Skander Karaa was an advisor in the cabinet of Roxana Maracineanu, the former Minister of Sports. The new CEO arrives at a particularly busy time for the CNOSF, which is engaged both in preparations for the Paris 2024 Games and in a bid process for the Southern Alps to host the Winter Games in 2030.
