The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has made its choice: it is Spanish. The body announced on Wednesday 10 May that the next two editions of the final phase of the Billie Jean King Cup (formerly the Fed Cup) will be held in the same city, Seville. It will host the 12 national teams of the women’s competition for the first time this year, from 7 to 12 November. Then it will do so again next year. According to the ITF, Seville even has an option to host the event in 2025. For the 2023 edition, an invitation has been extended to Poland. It will join the eleven teams already qualified: Switzerland, last year’s winner (pictured above), Australia, finalists in 2022, France, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Slovenia, Spain and the United States.
