The list is getting longer. After an extended break in August, the Paris 2024 OCOG has resumed its search for new partners. The latest addition to the list comes as no surprise: the RATP group. The public transport operator has become an official supporter of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the third level of the national marketing program. The contract was signed this week by Tony Estanguet, President of the OCOG, and former Prime Minister Jean Castex, CEO of the RATP group and former inter-ministerial delegate for the Olympic Games. RATP “will support the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee, in conjunction with Île-de-France Mobilités, in its ambitious goal of getting spectators to make 100% of their journeys by public transport“, the group explains in a press release. In addition to the 19,000 employees mobilized on a daily basis during the event, 2,000 volunteers will be on hand to help with reception. The Group is also planning a unique signage system dedicated to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as events in stations and stations. Last but not least, RATP will provide the OCOG with on-demand transport services, including 3 types of vehicle: coach, minibus and microbus. With this new signature, the Paris 2024 OCOG now has 32 official supporters.
