A very Paralympic week for the Paris 2024 OCOG. With one year and just a few days to go before the opening of the Paralympic Games (28 August to 8 September), the organisers are hosting the Paralympic mission managers seminar from Thursday 24 August. It will be held face-to-face and remotely, and is expected to bring together representatives of the 175 National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) until 30 August. The OCOG has announced that 352 people from all five continents will be taking part. The programme includes a visit to the competition venues in and around Paris, a tour of the Paralympic Village and a series of presentations on the vision and ambitions of Paris 2024, particularly in terms of inclusion and accessibility. The first plenary session, on Friday 25 August, will be opened by Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024, and Andrew Parsons, his counterpart from the IPC.
