On the road to parity

Always in search of recognition by GAISF, a prerequisite for a possible entry into the Olympic universe, the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) patiently continues its work of reforms. It announces that it adopted on Saturday February 13th, during an extraordinary general meeting online, a change to its statutes. In particular, it provides for representation of athletes on the Board of the body, and the goal of soon reaching the threshold of 30% of women on the same Board. In addition, it was validated during the extraordinary general meeting that the IMMAF would become a Swiss entity. Last year, the international body decided to be domiciled in Switzerland, the homeland of Olympism. Finally, the general meeting approved the appointment of Swiss auditors within the audit firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
