Nice catch for Moselle. The French department has signed a partnership agreement with the Brazilian Volleyball Federation (CBV). It provides for Brazilian teams, both men’s and women’s, to come to Moselle to prepare before the Paris 2024 Games. The discussions between the two parties were concretized after a recent visit of a Brazilian delegation to Metz and the department, located in eastern France. Brazil is currently ranked third in the FIVB world rankings for women and fourth for men. Last January, Moselle had already reached a first agreement with the Philippine Olympic Committee to serve as a base camp for its athletes before the Paris 2024 Games.
