Every day there is a new partnership announcement for the Paris 2024 OCOG. After ArcelorMittal, a global steel group based in Luxembourg, the latest entrant is French. Lyreco, the European leader in the distribution of products and services for the work environment, became this week an official supporter of the next Olympic and Paralympic Games. It is part of the national marketing program on the third floor of the building. Under the terms of the agreement signed between the two parties, Lyreco will be responsible for supplying all the organizing teams and international delegations with furniture, personal protective equipment, small equipment and supplies for offices, accommodation, competition venues and all other locations dedicated to operations. In total, nearly 360,000 products and 760 tons of goods are expected to be delivered to more than 60 sites, mainly in the Paris region, but also in Nantes, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Saint-Étienne, Nice and Marseille. The group, which originates from the north of France, has committed to recovering all the products supplied to the OCOG and giving them a second life. The vast majority (84%) will be reused through second-hand sales and donations to associations.
