There has been a change in the management of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF). The Lausanne-based organisation, chaired by Italian Francesco Ricci Bitti, has announced the appointment of James Carr as deputy executive director. He joined ASOIF in June 2016 and was previously responsible for administration and projects. James Carr will be responsible for managing ASOIF’s operations at the Lausanne headquarters. Andrew Ryan, the Executive Director, will remain in his position, but will now focus on international and external issues.
