As a global partner of the IOC within the TOP marketing programme, the Allianz Group is innovating by offering ticket cancellation insurance for the Paris 2024 Games. Already available for the Olympic Games, it is now also available for the Paralympic event, for which ticketing began on Monday 9 October. Future spectators can add this cancellation insurance to their shopping basket at the same time as they purchase their ticket. The offer is available to residents of 27 European Union countries and Switzerland. This insurance allows them to be reimbursed in the event of a sudden and unforeseen event beyond their control, which could prevent them from attending the Games: illness or injury, death, refusal of entry to the event or refusal to board a carrier due to a contagious disease, urgent home repairs, cancellation of travel by the carrier, weather emergencies, etc. The offer continues until the end of ticket sales.
