Infront wins Europe

Change of course for the IPC. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has announced that the media rights for Europe for the Beijing 2022 Winter Games and Paris 2024 Summer Games will be held by the marketing agency Infront. The Swiss-based company, a subsidiary of the Chinese group Dalian Wanda, will succeed the EBU (European Broadcasting Union), owner of the media rights for Europe since the Sochi Winter Games in 2014. The new agreement reached between the IPC and Infront concerns 51 European countries, but it excludes Great Britain for Beijing 2022 and France for Paris 2024. In addition to the marketing of the broadcasting rights of the Games, it includes a content creation component, intended to better bring the Paralympic movement and its actors to life between events.
