The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) is ending the year on a high note. Following its success on the Olympic front – the presence of flag soccer as an additional sport at the Los Angeles 2028 Games – it has announced the creation of its first academy. The result of a collaboration with etrainu, one of the world’s leading providers of community education solutions, the academy is presented as a digital learning platform. It will host the organization’s training and development resources, and offer online and face-to-face training to its 74 member national federations. On the menu is a range of online courses in refereeing, coaching and flag soccer. The IFAF Academy will also support the creation of training and development structures around the world.
