The heads of mission seminar for the 2023 World Beach Games, scheduled for August 5-12 in Bali, Indonesia, came to a close. For three days, representatives of nearly 70 National Olympic Committees – plus another 30 or so from afar – were able to visit the future competition sites and take stock of the preparations for the multi-sport event, including issues of accreditation, accommodation, security and ceremonies. The second day was marked by a presentation of the digital device planned for this second edition of the World Beach Games. It was announced to the heads of mission that each delegation could be accompanied by a specialist in social networks, in order to boost the coverage of the event. The seminar also gave the organizers the opportunity to unveil the mascots of the Games, Bli Saksma and Gek Saksma. The qualifications for the different sports disciplines are still underway, the complete list of countries present should not be decided before July 8. More than a hundred National Olympic Committees should be present in August in Bali.
