Unexpected: France is getting serious about netball. The world authority of this exclusively feminine discipline, World Netball, announces that the French federation – Netball France – has just obtained the status of full member of both World Netball and its continental variation, Europe Netball. It becomes the 79th country to join the netball family and one of the 14 nations affiliated to Europe Netball. With this new status, Netball France can now enter teams in international competitions. It will also benefit from access to development grants, kits and equipment. Netball France was created in 2020. It is recognized by the French Ministry of Sports as an “association of associations”.
