
The International Swimming Federation (World Aquatics) announced on Monday November 13: the next season of the Open Water Swimming World Cup will comprise five stages. It will take place on three continents, between spring and the end of 2024. But two of the five competitions have yet to be confirmed. The 18th World Cup kicks off on March 23 and 24 in Soma Bay, Egypt, before moving on to Golfo Aranci, Italy (May 25-26), then Setubal, Portugal (June 1-2). The next stop on the calendar is Hong Kong (October 26-27). Also to be confirmed, for reasons linked to the geopolitical context, is the final stage in Eilat, Israel.
