No time to lose. The International Triathlon Federation (World Triathlon) has finalized its selection of international technical officials for the Paris 2024 Games. The list includes 28 names for the Olympic event and 27 for the Paralympic event. In total, 43 national federations will be represented, with for the first time a perfect equality between men and women. All five continents are present in the selection made by World Triathlon, with 13 countries officiating for the first time at the Olympic or Paralympic Games. The team will be made up of a mix of technical officials with experience of the Games from previous editions and newcomers to this level of competition. All were selected after a lengthy selection process, with an initial selection of eligible officials, proposals from national federations, a list drafted by the technical committee, and a final decision by the executive committee of the body. The selection of the national technical officials of France will be made in a second step.
