Casting change at World Rugby. The governing body based in Dublin, Ireland, has announced the arrival next month of a new Chief Financial Officer. Unsurprisingly, he is British. Neil Hitchen (pictured above), currently CFO of City Football Group, will replace Robert Brophy, who stepped down in June. Neil Hitchen began his career in the music industry, with independent label Factory Records, before moving into the media and film worlds, with twofour54 Abu Dhabi, ITV and Virgin Media respectively, before moving into sport and joining City Football Group, where he held the position of CFO for international activities. Neil Hitchen’s arrival follows that of Jasmin Allott as World Rugby’s Chief Technology Officer.
