Emmanuel Macron at Paralympic Day

The news has been confirmed by the Elysée Palace: on Sunday October 8, Emmanuel Macron will be present at the 2nd Paralympic Day, organized by the Paris 2024 OCOG on the Place de la République in the heart of the French capital. The following day, the Head of State will receive at the Élysée Palace the French medal winners of the last Virtus Global Games, the world games for athletes with intellectual disabilities, held from June 4 to 10, 2023 in Vichy, in the Allier département. Anything but a coincidence, Olympic Day, and Emmanuel Macron’s visit, are scheduled on the eve of the opening of ticketing for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. It is due to open on Monday, October 9 at 10:00 a.m. sharp on the single platform for ticket sales. Nearly 2.8 million tickets are on offer, half of them for 25 euros or less.
