Eaubonne prepares for Team USA

The big manoeuvres will begin in the next few days at the Cdfas (Departmental Centre for Sports Training and Animation) in Eaubonne, in the Val d’Oise, chosen as the base camp for the American delegation before and during the Paris 2024 Games. The building permit was granted at the beginning of the year, and work on extending, renovating and modernising the site began in March. The work will last twenty months, with delivery scheduled for 4 September 2023. Cost: €20 million, financed by the Val d’Oise department, the Fonds de solidarité et d’investissement interdépartemental (FS2I), and the Île-de-France region. The programme includes the construction of a new building for accommodation and catering, and the restructuring and extension of the existing building for reception, training, administration, the medical-sports area and the regeneration centre. The accommodation capacity will be increased to 200 beds and an additional car park with 120 spaces will complete the project. The Cdfas has been selected as the Games Preparation Centre (GPC) and will host 23 Olympic and Paralympic disciplines.
