Distribution in 50 countries

Audiovisual coverage of the European Games 2023, to be held from June 21 to June 2 in Poland, promises to be record-breaking. At the latest count published by the organizing committee, TV channels in 50 countries around the world have acquired the rights to the multi-sport event. This list could grow even longer between now and the opening ceremony, scheduled for June 21 in Krakow. Under an agreement signed last summer, production of the events has been delegated to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The agreement also covers the next edition of the European Games, scheduled for 2027 but not yet awarded. In addition to the major European nations, the rights to the Games have been acquired by some twenty South American broadcasters. There are no Russian broadcasters on the list published this week by the Polish organizers.
