Deloitte makes six-year commitment

With the Paris 2024 Games less than a year away, World Athletics is adding to its portfolio of partners. Following the arrival last month of two new Japanese sponsors, NTN Corporation and the Tokyo Tokyo tourism agency, the body has announced a six-year commercial agreement with management consulting firm Deloitte. The aim is to accelerate World Athletics’ digital transformation and innovation needs. The contract begins on January 1. According to a press release from World Athletics, Deloitte will create synergies between its presence in athletics and its involvement in the Olympic movement, which will come to fruition in April 2022 with its entry into the IOC’s global TOP program.
