D-Day for the official store

A new box will be ticked this Tuesday, August 22, in the run-up to the Rugby World Cup in France (September 8 to October 28), with the opening of the largest official boutique dedicated to the event. It is located in the heart of Paris, on the Place de la Concorde. With a surface area of 1,000 m2, it is the largest ever set up for a Rugby World Cup. And, unsurprisingly, the largest of all the official stores operating in France during the tournament. Among the items on sale are replica jerseys from each qualifying team, merchandising featuring the twenty participating nations, and miniature versions of the tournament trophy, the Webb Ellis Cup. The official World Cup stores are all managed by the same operator, Legends. From September 8, the Place de la Concorde will also play host to the official Paris Rugby Village – a vast free-entry celebration area featuring giant-screen broadcasts of the matches.
