
A new arrival in the marketing programme of the Paris 2024 OCOG. But this time, the newcomer is moving to the second stage of the rocket. The French group CMA CGM, a global player in maritime, land and air logistics solutions, has become an official partner of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games, in the category of logistics solutions. It will put its expertise at the service of Paris 2024, “in order to ensure the transport and logistics of all the goods, equipment and materials necessary for the success of the event at the Olympic and Paralympic venues.” With its subsidiaries CEVA Logistics and CMA CGM Air Cargo, the group chaired by Rodolphe Saadé will handle international transport and customs brokerage operations. It will also provide and operate the logistics areas required for Paris 2024 operations. Finally, CMA CGM will handle road and river transport operations, as well as logistics at the sites in mainland France and overseas. The French group is present in 160 countries and employs 150,000 people worldwide, including nearly 4,000 at its headquarters in Marseille.
