Capgemini scores double

RWC 2023

With two years and two days to go, the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France (September 8th to October 28th) is completing its portfolio of sponsors. On Monday, September 6th, it announced the arrival of a new major partner, the first level of the marketing programme: the French IT services company Capgemini. A historic rugby sponsor for around thirty years, thanks to its founder Serge Kampf (who died in 2016), Capgemini is doing double duty by also becoming a digital partner of World Rugby. The French group was already a sponsor of the world rugby sevens circuit, the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. It was also an official sponsor of the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France. With this partnership, it will provide technological support to World Rugby, notably for the management of its world ranking or the processing of tournament data. Capgemini joins Société Générale and Mastercard as major partners of the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
