Breaking to be included in the European Games

Breaking will not have to wait for the Paris 2024 Games to discover the atmosphere of major multi-sport events. The Association of European Olympic Committees (EOC) has announced that it has added the discipline to the programme of the 2023 European Games in Krakow and the Malopolska region in Poland. Only one event will be contested, the battles. It will bring together 32 competitors (16 boys and 16 girls). With the addition of breaking, the European Games now include 22 sports: 3×3 basketball, archery, badminton, beach handball, beach soccer, boxing, canoeing, cycling, judo, karate, modern pentathlon, muaythai, kickboxing, padel, shooting, ski jumping, climbing, table tennis, taekwondo, teqball, triathlon, breaking. But the EOC points out that the list is not complete yet.
