With less than 500 days to go before the opening of the next Summer Games, the cooperation announced between Paris 2024 and Los Angeles 2028 is taking shape. But it is taking a rather unexpected turn. At the initiative of the US embassy and consulates in France, a new kind of operation, the “Games 4 All”, is due to begin next month. It will be launched on the occasion of the visit to France, from 29 March to 6 April in Paris, Pau and Lyon, of two figures of breaking in the United States, the B-boy Jacob “Kujo” Lyons and the B-girl “Sunny” Choi (photo above). This first initiative is intended to serve as a guideline for a series of events, in collaboration with local partners throughout France, leading up to the Los Angeles Games in 2028. Games 4 All is based on three themes: Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, Healthy Planet, to promote the practice of sport through urban cultures, diversity, inclusion, innovation and sustainable development. Jacob Kujo is the current President of Gold USA, the breaking division of the USA Dance Federation. Sunny Choi is the US number one breaker, pre-selected by Team USA for the Paris 2024 Games.
